Payment
Standard Rate Policy - A prepayment of 50% of the total rental amount is required to secure the booking. You will be charged the remaining balance of the reservation 28 days ahead of arrival. Reservations are considered confirmed after receiving the prepayment of 50% of the amount.
Non Refundable Policy - You will be charged the total price of the reservation at the time of booking.

Cancellation policies

Reservations with Flexible 28 days policy:
For cancellations more than 28 days before the check-in, 100% of the deposit will be refunded within a week of cancelation. For cancellations within 28 days before the check-in, the payment is 100% non-refundable.
Reservations with no-refundable deposit policy:
For cancellations after booking 100% of the payment is non-refundable. 
In case of cancellation please notify immediately in writing.

Climate Tax
Please be aware that in accordance with a new Greek law as of 2024, there is an environmental tax of €1.50 per night per villa, which is payable upon arrival in the local currency.
You will be issued with a separate receipt for this at the end of your stay.

Accommodation
Accommodation is only for the use of those people named at the time of booking and if you wish to add members to your party, you should advise in writing, with any extra payment due. Accommodation is available to you from 15:00 on the date of arrival and the check out is at 11:00 on the date of departure. The accommodation cost includes electricity, linen, towels, and cleaning before arrival. Housekeeping is included every two days. Any damage or breakage should be notified and appropriate payment made to our local representative, before your departure. We reserve the right to charge for breakage and damage not reported and discovered later.

Parties & noise
Loud noise and music are not allowed at any time at the villas, indoors and outdoors.
Quiet time is between 23:00 and 08:00 where music and loud talking are not allowed at all.
Please respect the other guests 

Property owner's disclaimer:
The property owner does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, or additional expenses incurred by the client or any member of the client’s party regardless of the cause. The property owner does not accept liability for any injury, death, loss, inconvenience or damage, alteration, delay, or cancellation of the booking as a result of war, threat of war, riot or civil strife, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), natural disaster, fire, sickness, weather conditions, action at an airport or port by any government or public authority, technical problems relating to transport and airport regulations caused by technical, mechanical or electrical breakdowns or with the client’s accommodation or other circumstances as amounting to ‘force majeure’ or Acts of God or other similar events beyond the property owner’s control. In addition, the owner is not responsible for any physical injuries caused to the customers during their stay at the property. 

External Maintenance
The owner or his/her representative have, if necessary, free access to the property for essential maintenance purposes (garden, swimming pool, etc.). 

Complaints: Your holiday enjoyment is of prime importance to us. If you have cause for complaint whilst on holiday you must immediately report the matter to our representative

Number of persons 
The number of persons (adults and children) may not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the Booking Confirmation.

Driver's qualifications:  

• Driver must be over 23 years old.   

 

• A valid driving license held for at least one year is required, Greek law mandates that you carry your license with you whilst driving.

 

• The driver's license can be issued from the European Union or the driver can hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).  

 

• The driver must hold a valid credit card, for all necessary pre-authorization amounts as well as pre-payments and settlement of final rental charges.  

  
Rental Qualifications and Requirements  
 
Traffic fines:   
All fines resulting from the drivers' conduct are borne solely by the renter.  
 
Vehicle License Plate Removal Policy
 
In the event that the license plates are removed from any public authority during the rental, the tenant will be charged €100 per day, in addition to the fine, for rent until the plates are received back by the competent authority.
This charge is not covered by any insurance.
 
Insurance:   
All vehicles are covered against damages from fire to the rented vehicle, and Liability Insurance to Third Party death, injury, and property.   
  
Collision damage waiver (CDW-SCDW)
CDW: Third-party liability insurance provides coverage for your liability towards third parties, or car owners in the event of an accident. It covers damages to other vehicles, property, or individuals caused by your vehicle. However, it does not cover damages to your vehicle.

SCDW: Financial liability can be reduced to €1500 by purchasing SCDW at a cost of €30 per day. Damages to the bottom of the car, wheels, and tires are not covered.

SUPER COVER (SUP):   
The renter's liability can be further reduced to €500 with a daily charge of €10.  This requirement is applicable, given that the renter has previously consented to the associated charges for SCDW coverage. Moreover, Super Cover covers any damages caused on the vehicle's windshield and tires and includes Extended Road Assistance. Damages caused to the underside and wheels of the vehicle are not covered by any insurance.  SCDW is required for SUP insurance.

EXTENDED ROAD ASSISTANCE (ERA):
Extended road assistance is an optional service that provides road assistance for cases that do not involve mechanical damage to the vehicle, such as: 1) Jump-Start Assistance: In the event that the renter's vehicle battery is drained due to failure to charge by the renter, assistance will be provided to jump-start the vehicle., 2) Tyre change assistance, in case the renter needs help to change a flat tyre.

The service is available for an additional charge of €3 per rental day. In case the renter requests any of the ERA services described above, without having previously purchased ERA, there will be an additional charge of €60.

Additional drivers:   
A charge of 10€ per day for each additional driver.  

Mechanical breakdown:  
 In the unlikely event of a mechanical issue with the rented vehicle not due to the driver's fault, Taf Beach Villas guarantees replacement of the car (same model is not possible). In the event of damage to the car due to the driver's fault, our company guarantees replacement of the car only if there is availability. If the law is violated (consumption of alcohol, excess passengers, speeding etc.) the company will not replace the car.  

Not covered by any insurance package: 
Damage to the interior of the car
Fines resulting from infringements of the Road Traffic Code
Mechanical damage at the fault of the tenant
Damage to the tyres or wheels
Damage to the bottom of the car
Damage caused by illegal or inconsistent use
Damage caused when using the vehicle on a dirt road, beach, forest area, or elsewhere than on an asphalt road.
Injuries caused by an unreported driver, or a driver who was under the influence of alcohol, or drugs.

Biological Cleaning Fee:   
Applicable if upon return the vehicle requires cleaning beyond the usual cleaning to prepare it for the next rental. The biological cleaning charge is €100

Smoking:   
Not Allowed

Baby & child seats:   
Available on request without any charge. 
 
Collection & delivery times :   
Deliveries and pick-ups of the cars are handled exclusively at Taf Beach Villas. The delivery time is at 3:00 PM, and the pick-up time is at 11:00 AM. 
 
Ferry transportation:   
Not Allowed.  

Security Features:
The Tesla vehicle you are renting comes with built-in safety measures. It includes a dashcam for recording while driving, and sentry mode for additional security when parked. Additionally, the speed limit has been set on the vehicle for enhanced safety.

Conditions: 
When accepting your booking, it will be understood that you are agreeing to the Booking Conditions on behalf of all members of your party.

Tenant: 
I have read and understood and we agree to accept and abide by the terms and conditions of booking as detailed on behalf of all persons for whom the booking is made

Jurisdiction:
In the event of controversy arising from the booking and property rental, only the Kos Greek Courts can deal with the matter.
